Annals of The Winter War - Parts 1 & 2

By the time our rearguard had rallied at the mouth of the Yrimlock river, we could all see the fires over Ostvangr. The Ogres had baited us into a trap. Ostvangr had fallen to cunning and guile, and the men I had left behind there - dead or worse.

Calid Valiev, seneschal of Ostvangr, knight of the Black Order

Loot, Pillage, Smash!

The Crew of the Skinned Elf have taken the North by storm. Seizing Ostvangr Keep in an act of cunning and sacking the rich trading port of Thule, the Ogres appear the dominant force in the North ... for now.

Autumn Endures

The Host of Autumn has staked its claim on the south-western forests with stunning speed, encircling and seizing Fort Adamant and spreading as far as the mountains around Jarnrgrad Deep. A clash with the Ogres to the North is imminent...

Gilling's Grove Burns

In a single day the verdant lands around the Yrimlock River are set ablaze, as Orc raiders butcher the population of Gilling's Grove and choke the waterways with corpses and debris. Their raids stretch as far North as Ostvangr Keep, threatening the knights of the Order with a war on two fronts.

Ostvangr Fallen

Disaster strikes the Black Order's garrison at Ostvangr. When the main garrison leaves the keep to pursue an Ogre raiding party in the valleys below, it is ambushed and driven further south in disarray, while the main body of the Ogre force storms Ostvangr. The knights of the Order must retake the keep if they are to survive the coming winter.

From the Depths...

The slavers of Zygrad enter the war with a predator's patience, sending out raiding parties and forays into the lands around Byleist Mine without committing in force to a full- scale assault. Disdainful of the wasted opportunity for slaves in the burned-out ruins of Gilling's Grove, Zygrad turns his practiced eye instead onto the potential for riches in Byleist Mine, and the tunnels beneath it...

Whispers in the Forest

Silvanus, lord of the Canopy of Druids, views the Elven expansionism to the west dispassionately. Fellow servants of the Green Lady the Elves may be, but they must not encroach upon the Lady's plan for the North. For now, their presence is permitted; more worrying is the threat posed by the arrival of iron-armoured dwarves in the east, where Silvanus' scouts report the slavers are plotting and planning infernal deeds threatening the Green Lady's domain.
